    The Mobile Electronics Development Specialist serves as a key technical resource supporting both product development and dealer/customer technical support. This role works closely with engineering, product planning, and support teams to assist with product validation, troubleshooting, vehicle integration, and real-world field feedback.

    The primary focus of this position is to support ongoing product development efforts by providing hands-on technical knowledge, vehicle testing, installation support, product diagnostics, and field analysis. This role also assists with technical support activities when needed, helping dealers and end users resolve installation, integration, and operational concerns.

    The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is highly motivated and capable of working effectively in an independent and minimally supervised environment. Strong communication skills are essential, as this role regularly interfaces with engineering teams, dealers, and management.

    Key Responsibilities

    ⁃ Support engineering and product development programs through hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and vehicle validation.

    ⁃ Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company’s products, features, vehicle integration methods, and emerging automotive electronics technologies.

    ⁃ Provide technical support assistance for dealers, installers, distributors, and end users as needed.

    ⁃ Perform remote diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify product faults, installation issues, or integration concerns.

    ⁃ Guide customers through product installation, setup, calibration, and debugging procedures.

    ⁃ Verify product functionality, CAN communication, vehicle compatibility, and overall system performance through real-world vehicle testing and validation.

    ⁃ Identify and document fitment, structural, software, hardware, or integration-related concerns discovered during testing.

    ⁃ Assist engineering teams by gathering and reporting detailed field data and customer feedback to improve product quality and usability.

    ⁃ Create installation, troubleshooting, and product demonstration videos for training and support purposes.

    ⁃ Support the development and maintenance of technical documents, online support content, and installation resources.

    ⁃ Manage multiple projects, testing schedules, and support activities simultaneously while maintaining strong organization and attention to detail.

    ⁃ Travel as needed for vehicle testing, dealer support, product evaluations, and industry events.

    Qualifications

    ⁃ 1–2 years of experience in the car audio, automotive electronics, or 12-Volt industry.

    ⁃ Strong understanding of aftermarket vehicle electronics and installation/troubleshooting methodologies.

    ⁃ Detail-oriented mindset with a strong focus on product quality and end-user experience.

    ⁃ Fluency in English required. Spanish and/or Mandarin language proficiency is a plus.

    ⁃ Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.

    ⁃ Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
