The role
As a Mobile Engineer, you will build Vale's mobile applications for consumers and field operators, delivering experiences that are fast, reliable, and delightful.
- Design and build mobile features and applications for iOS and/or Android
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Back-End engineers to ship complete mobile experiences
- Ensure app performance, stability, and a high-quality user experience across devices
- Write clean, well-tested mobile code and participate in code reviews
- Manage the mobile release process including builds, testing, and app store submissions
- Debug and resolve production issues affecting mobile users
- Stay current on mobile platform updates, design guidelines, and best practices
Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 4+ years of mobile engineering experience on iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin), or React Native
- Strong understanding of mobile UX patterns and performance optimization
- Experience with mobile testing frameworks and automated testing
- Familiarity with app store submission and release management processes
- Experience with REST APIs and asynchronous programming patterns
Compensation
$135,000 – $180,000 per year
