Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to a variety of pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the grooming process. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. If you have experience in pet care and grooming, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Perform grooming services including bathing, clipping, and styling for dogs and cats of various breeds. We use Mercedes Sprinter Vans converted by Wag n Tails.

Assess the health and condition of pets prior to grooming and report any concerns to pet owners.

Use appropriate animal restraint techniques to ensure safety for both the pet and the groomer.

Maintain cleanliness of grooming tools and equipment, as well as the grooming area.

Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs.

Keep detailed records of services performed on each pet.

Stay updated on grooming trends and techniques to provide the best care possible.

Experience

Previous experience in pet grooming required.

Skills in animal handling, including knowledge of dog training and behavior, are highly valued.

Experience as a veterinary technician or assistant is a plus.

Familiarity with pet care practices such as pet sitting or equine care can enhance your candidacy.

Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their pets.
