Our limestone terminal in Grantsville, UT is looking for a dependable and skilled Mobile Mechanic to maintain and repair a variety of light to mid-duty equipment used throughout the terminal. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, staying busy, and keeping operations running smoothly.
Ideal candidates will have experience with automotive or diesel systems and be comfortable working on a wide range of equipment.
Light and mid-duty mobile equipment
Forklifts
Small loaders
Pallet jacks (manual and electric)
Utility vehicles used throughout the terminal
Basic support equipment used in daily mining terminal operations
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on terminal mobile equipment.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
Complete preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
Repair or replace components such as brakes, hoses, belts, filters, starters, batteries, and small engine parts.
Keep accurate maintenance logs and communicate equipment status to supervisors.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Travel between on-site areas within the terminal as needed (all local—no long-distance travel).
2–4 years of mechanic experience (automotive, diesel, or equipment strongly preferred).
Experience working on forklifts, loaders, or similar light industrial equipment is a plus.
Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Ability to read and understand equipment manuals and diagnostic information.
Must be able to work independently and manage daily workload.
Valid driver's license; ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
