About the Role:
Bark & Mane of Severna Park and Glen Burnie is looking for a passionate and skilled Mobile Pet Groomer to join their growing team in the Arnold, MD area! This is a fantastic opportunity to do what you love — pampering pets — while enjoying the freedom and variety of a mobile grooming environment. Responsibilities:
Perform full-service grooming on dogs and cats, including bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts, and finishing
Operate and maintain a mobile grooming van, traveling to client locations throughout the service area
Safely handle pets of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments with patience and care
Communicate professionally with pet owners regarding grooming preferences, coat conditions, and pet behavior
Perform nail trimming, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, and other hygiene services as requested
Keep the mobile grooming unit clean, sanitized, and fully stocked between appointments
Manage a daily appointment schedule efficiently to ensure timely service
Requirements:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to safely handle and restrain animals of all sizes and temperaments
Strong customer service and communication skills
Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently
Knowledge of pet safety, skin/coat health, and grooming best practices is preferred
Schedule
Part-time schedule (2 or 3 ten-hour days)
