Vet Care Vaccination Services is seeking a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Cashier to join our mobile vaccination clinic team.
Our mobile clinics provide efficient and affordable preventative veterinary care to pets throughout Southern California. Team members report to our Garden Grove location and travel with the team in Vet Care vehicles to scheduled clinic locations and special events.
Our clinics are fast-paced, team-oriented, and focused on providing a positive experience for clients and their pets. Most clinics take place on Saturdays and Sundays, with occasional weekday special events. Weekend availability is required.
Responsibilities:
Process cash, credit card, and other client payments accurately.
Re-add and verify totals provided on client paperwork.
Maintain accurate cashier, transaction, revenue, and deposit paperwork.
Count and reconcile transactions and funds at the end of each clinic or run.
Review client paperwork for completeness and accuracy.
Clearly document medication given at the clinic and any medication that must be mailed.
Learn about the preventative products and flea medications offered by Vet Care.
Assist clients with general questions about payments, products, and clinic procedures.
Help ensure paperwork is fully completed before clients move forward.
Assist with obtaining pet weights or supporting client flow when needed.
Work cooperatively with Customer Assistants, technicians, support staff, doctors, and supervisors.
Help maintain an organized, professional, and efficient clinic environment.
Follow all company cash-handling, confidentiality, safety, and clinic procedures.
Qualifications:
Weekend availability is required, particularly on Saturdays and Sundays.
Must be comfortable working at different mobile clinic locations throughout Southern California.
Must be comfortable traveling with the team from the Garden Grove reporting location.
Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
Ability to accurately handle payments and complete financial paperwork.
Strong customer-service and communication skills.
Ability to remain organized in a fast-paced outdoor clinic environment.
Dependable, punctual, professional, and able to work as part of a team.
Previous cashier, customer-service, veterinary, medical-office, or payment-processing experience is preferred.
Position Details:
Part-time, in-person mobile clinic position.
Primary workdays are Saturdays and Sundays.
Clinic hours and locations vary based on the mobile schedule.
Employees are expected to review the schedule regularly because clinic assignments and start times may change.
A Vet Care scrub top is provided and is required for special clinic events.
