POSITION SUMMARY - REMOTE BASED VIRTUAL OFFICE (Work from Home)
THE CLOUD APPLICATION ADMINISTRATOR (CAA) will function as the Administrator and Access Manager for all vendor sourced software platforms (such as Google Workspace, JustCall, Microsoft Office 365, Zoho, Zoom) provided by CxORE and used by CxORE employees and clients.
Responsibilities for this position include applying a change management process, developing workflows, creating data management solutions, managing user account security, and coordinating system updates with Software as a Service (SaaS) vendors.
This person will support and maintain the integrity of all data for CxORE and any data CxORE’s clients have entrusted them with. The Cloud Application Administrator will play a key role in the creation and strategic planning of all systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage SaaS systems configurations and monitor service operations and parameters to streamline delivery of services to the user community
- Design and implement, access rules, workflows, and otherwise configure or modify applications and platforms to provide access, ensure compliance, allow the company to function, and provide detailed reporting
- Create and maintain system design/configuration documentation as well as identify integration constraints and solutions
- Work with vendors at both support and development levels to support operations
- Periodically review policies for accuracy and respond to access, provisioning, and password management system changes
- Monitor and review vendor release notes to detect compatibility or other issues with environment, determine whether new features should be enabled, determine if new configurations need additional reviews or approvals
- Virtual ‘network’ administrator ensuring all systems are up and running, troubleshooting when outages or breakage occurs
- Develop and analyze functional, access, and security requirements for new applications
- Anticipate, plan for, and navigate changes in service operations and functionality
- Develop and maintain permissions and ensure security configurations are in place on all SaaS applications
- Align overall technology framework to meet business goals
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION
- At least 5 years of related work experience or a bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of related work experience
- Experience with SaaS systems administration and access management, exposure to native integrations and APIs
- Experience managing, integrating, and configuring SaaS applications
- Experience using Google Workspace, Microsoft Office 365, JustCall and Zoho CRM or similar applications
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and flex in the scope of duties assigned
- Ability to absorb information from multiple sources, filtering and translating that input into meaningful information and system requirements, when shared with appropriate stakeholders creates value and assists with decision making
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated skill querying, manipulating, and parsing large amounts of data
- Familiarity with database management concepts and architectures
- Knowledge and understanding of data flow diagrams and logic
- Experience using and applying information security principles and best practices, including performing risk analysis on cloud application configurations
- Ability to understand and use APIs to automate processes including data retrieval and updates
- Skilled in creation and maintenance of high-quality technical documentation
- Ability to review, analyze and troubleshoot errors in cloud applications using detailed log data
- Knowledge of DNS terminology and concepts
