Job Description

We are looking to add a new Contractors assistant to the team!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for loading and unloading various construction materials to and from company vehicle.
• Responsible for transporting materials to and from company vehicle/ work area.
• Cleans and prepares sites at the start and finish of each day.
• Responsible for using hand and power tools while abiding by all warnings to maintain a safe work environment.
• Assist with hanging Sheetrock.
• Assist in preparing with mixing of materials for example but not limited to, paint, grout, concrete, etc.
• Assist in cutting of materials to be installed for example but not limited to, porcelain tile, glass tile, wood or metal studs, various types of flooring etc.
• Cleans the site of all debris and dust/ dirt upon completion of the job and hauls debris to the work vehicle.
• Must be familiar with and adhere to OSHA regulations for all materials used.
• Required to act professionally and represent the company positively at all times.
• The company reserves the right to add or change duties at anytime.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Highschool degree or equivalent; vocational school or trade apprenticeship a plus
• 2 year experience in construction preferred
• Basic hand tools and power tools
• Ability to physically stand, bend, squat and lift up to 50lbs
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to pass drug screening
• Ability to pass criminal background check
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Must be fully vaccinated
