    We have an IMMEDIATE opening for a staff supervisor to lead the Housekeeping Team at a luxury resort in the heart of the Canadian Rockies!

    Successful Candidate MUST HAVE experience as a Supervisor/Team Leader in a Housekeeping Capacity

    SKILLS & ABILITIES:

    Prioritization, time-management, scheduling

    Strong communication - verbal, written, electronic

    Conflict resolution, diplomacy (Guest & Staff concerns)

    Customer-oriented, friendly, personable

    Knowledge of computer systems (for reporting)

    RESPONSIBILITY/DUTIES INCLUDE:

    Supervise all Room Attendants as they perform their duties

    Scheduling of employees

    Assign room section to Room Attendants on a daily basis (We do not work in teams)

    Pull and assess housekeeping reports

    Check all rooms to ensure the quality of work is maintained and clear them for the Front Desk

    Coordinate the stripping of the rooms with Laundry and the Room Attendants

    Ensuring team is working together in the morning and afternoon with laundry distribution

    Ensure all Housekeeping Rooms and carts are fully stocked with linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies

    Work quickly, efficiently without compromising quality of work

    Keeping on top of supply ordering and reviewing stock levels/needs (Coffee, linen, room amenities)

    Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience, and follow up to ensure the complaint/requests has been rectified

    Assist with basic guest services and housekeeping duties when short-handed:

    include bed making, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms and rooms, laundry and general maintenance

    ADDITIONAL CONCERNS & INTERESTS

    Always ensure you are present during your shift and visible throughout the day

    Maintain radio contact/availability at all time while on shift, and respond in a timely manner

    Be a part of and help create team building exercises

    Ability to enforce hotel policies on a daily basis

    Report any technical issues or maintenance needs to the Hotel Manager.

    Ensure that all Occupational Health & Safety policies and training are followed.

    Be an active member of the Emergency Team
