Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Generative AI Research Scientist to join our research team. As a key member of the group, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating novel generative models, with an emphasis on understanding and improving AI capabilities. You will be contributing to the advancement of the field by publishing research papers and tech blogs, collaborating with other researchers, and engaging in the AI research community. Responsibilities:

• Publish research findings in top-tier conferences, journals and blog posts, contributing to the broader AI research community.
• Stay current with advancements in the field, attending conferences, workshops, and seminars to foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Contribute to the formulation of research strategies and roadmaps, helping to shape the future direction of the company's AI initiatives.
• Design, develop, and evaluate novel generative models and algorithms to advance the state-of-the-art in AI.
• Work with engineering / business teams on model deployment and customized training.
• Work with the open-source community on model release and tooling.

Qualifications:

• PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, with a focus on AI, machine learning, or generative models.
• Have a track record of coming up with new ideas or improving upon existing ideas in machine learning, demonstrated by accomplishments such as first author publications or projects
• Possess the ability to own and pursue a research agenda, including choosing impactful research problems and autonomously carrying out long-running projects
• Strong programming skills in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or other relevant frameworks and libraries. Experience with creating Jupyter/Colab notebooks。
• In-depth understanding of the latest developments and trends in AI, machine learning, and generative models.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and analytically.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience with mentoring and supervising junior researchers or students is a plus.
• Experience with training large models on a compute cluster environment is a plus
