JOB DESCRIPTION
The Job: skilled tradesman with the ability to perform basic to advanced repairs(Mechanical, electrical and electronic) of our equipment, preventative maintenance, building and grounds, maintaining and often times improving our environment. Includes performing and/or supervising janitorial duties associated with breakroom, bathrooms etc..
Knowledge and skills, we seek:
Preferred Competencies in no particular order:
Familiarity with all required safety practices associated with the job,
Electrical and Mechanical troubleshooting of manual and computer-controlled equipment,
Knowledge of CNC Controls and Drives, Electrical power distribution,
Parpas, OKK, FPT, Makino, Heidenhain, Fanuc, Fidia, Rockwell automation, siemens, Yaskawa.
Read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings
Understanding of ladder logic
understand PLC basic functionalities and capabilities.
An understanding and commitment to preventative maintenance,
Ability to effectively utilize vendors and outside contractors,
Ability to effectively manage a team.
Associate or Journeyman electrical degree.
Use of proper lock-out tag-out procedures
General understanding of OSHA and how it pertains to you and your environment.
Determine temporary and permanent corrective actions and be able to implement, follow up, and follow through.
Program a robot
Ability to use welder, torches, mill, drill press, bandsaw, etc. to fabricate, repair, rebuild basic parts.
Mechanical aptitude required to Isolate a problem and its cause,
Familiarity with valves, cylinders, pumps, clutches. Gears, bearings etc. to enable diagnosis and repair,
General building maintenance including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building exterior.
