    JOB BRIEF

    A family-owned company with over 50 years’ experience in mold making is seeking the right candidate for the position of First Shift Gundrill Operator. All experience levels will be considered for this position. Compensation is based upon experience, abilities, knowledge and skill level.     ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Read work orders or other instructions to determine product specifications or materials requirements.
    • Program with LaMoine software.
    • Set up and machine work pieces.
    • Apply lubricants or coolants to work pieces.
    • Monitor equipment operation to ensure that products are not flawed.
    • Inspect products.
    • Measure dimensions of completed products or work pieces to verify conformance to specifications.
    • Operate saws and other cutting equipment.
    • Mark products, work pieces, or equipment with identifying information.
    • Clean production equipment.
    • Lubricate production equipment.
    • Clean work areas.
    • Operate forklifts or other loaders.
    • Operate overhead crane.
    • Operate grinding equipment.

    ACTIVITIES AND ABILITIES

    • Physical activity and/or the use of machinery will be required for this position.

    • Must be able to communicate effectively, written and verbally.

    • Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.

    • Must be able to physically and mentally perform duties listed for this position.

    • Lift up to 50 pounds.

    • Read and understand information and ideas that have been presented in writing.

    • Choosing the right mathematical methods or formulas to solve a problem.

    • Add, subtract, multiply, or divide quickly and correctly.

    SALARY INFO:

    $17 - $23 / HR
