Senior Modern Management & Endpoint Policy Architect
Contract • Fully Remote • June 1 Start • EST Hours Required • US Citizens & GC Holders Only
Pay Rate: $50–60/hr W2 | Weekly Pay | 6–12 Month Contract
Overview
We are placing a Senior Modern Management & Endpoint Policy Architect on a 6–12 month contract engagement supporting a large East Coast health insurance organization. This is a hands-on architecture role — the right candidate will own policy rationalization, configuration cleanup, and operational readiness, not just document it.
You will work directly with enterprise IT leadership to drive Intune and SCCM policy rationalization, application compatibility, and endpoint modernization across a complex, distributed environment. If you thrive where there is real work to be done and real decisions to make, this is the role.
What You'll Do
- Lead Intune and SCCM policy rationalization across a large enterprise endpoint environment
- Drive application compatibility assessment and application delivery modernization
- Own ELV laptop readiness planning and execution
- Establish and enforce naming standards and configuration cleanup across the endpoint fleet
- Produce operational readiness documentation and knowledge transfer materials
- Communicate progress, decisions, and blockers clearly to both technical teams and senior leadership
What You Bring
- 7+ years of enterprise endpoint management experience with a focus on modern management architecture
- Recent, hands-on Intune and SCCM architecture ownership within the last 5–7 years — operational support profiles will not be considered
- Deep experience with policy rationalization across large, complex Intune and SCCM environments
- Application compatibility assessment and application delivery experience in enterprise migrations
- Enterprise endpoint migration experience — domain migrations, fleet modernization, or equivalent
- Strong operational readiness documentation and knowledge transfer track record
- Ability to work independently and drive workstreams without heavy oversight
- Available for a June 1 start or within days of it
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident — no sponsorship available
Compensation & Benefits
- $50–60/hr W2, paid weekly
- Medical coverage: PPO and HMO options available
- Dental and vision coverage
Important Details

- 6–12 month contract beginning June 1
