JOB DESCRIPTION
· Effectively maintain a positive client relationship and ensure all needs are met
· Establish an on-going business relationship with assessors, collectors, and other third parties throughout various taxing jurisdictions
· Initiate client data requests and review for completeness
· Apply software knowledge to successfully implement client data
· Possess knowledge regarding asset taxability and filing deadlines in various states
· Prepare and file annual property tax renditions accurately and timely
· Analyze assessment notices for accuracy and determine potential savings
· File appeals, if applicable
· Manage appeal deadlines and negotiate values with assessors on behalf of clients for both real estate and business personal property accounts
· Attend and present at tax hearings
· Research and process Real Estate and Business Personal Property tax statements and assessment notices timely
· Respond to any correspondence received from assessor-collectors via email and telephone
· Provide property tax estimates, if requested
· Prepares tax savings reports for clients
· Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· Requires Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Business Management, or International Business
· Entry level or 1-3 years of relevant work experience preferred (e.g. internships, summer positions, school jobs).
· Experience using Property Tax software
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES:
· Texas Property Tax Consulting license from TDLR
