TITLE: PREP COOK

THE BIG PICTURE
The Prep Cook reports to the Executive Chef and is responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing all line items to the specifications set forth in the Modern Times Beer recipe guidelines. This role also oversees kitchen inventory, ordering all ingredients and supplies, daily prep of ingredients, forecast product needs and manage the kitchen with a focus on cost-saving methods and increasing productivity. Candidates must share Modern Times' commitments to quality, safety, business ethics, and continuous innovation

Night, weekend, and holiday availability required
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required when performing work duties
Able to stand, walk, and be on your feet for prolonged periods
Able to read and follow written English instructions
Able to regularly twist, turn, kneel, climb, stoop, bend, crawl, lift and carry supplies and equipment weighing up to 55 pounds using appropriate techniques and tools
Able to safely navigate the small areas and crowded spaces
Able to maneuver packages of any weight above 75 pounds with appropriate equipment and/or assistance
Abe to move 165-pounds, using appropriate techniques and tools
Able to both work and thrive in a high-stress environment that has a quiet to moderate noise level
Able to read and follow written English instructions
Able to safely navigate the tasting room and snack bar areas, including crowded spaces
Able to work in a factory/production environment which may be loud, slick, humid, cold, and hot
Able to work in indoor and outdoor environments with moderate noise and occasionally slippery floors
Able to comply with and enforce all health, safety, and personal hygiene policies and standards
