We are currently seeking a professional to join our accounting team on a temporary assignment for 2-3 months. The ideal candidate will have experience with payroll taxes and willing to jump right in.

DUTIES

• Import client tax liability from payroll platforms
• File and pay client payroll taxes timely and accurately
• Prepare and file quarter and annual tax returns
• Setup and balance all "full service" tax clients
• Maintain client ID numbers, rates and deposit frequencies
• Prepare and file amended tax returns
• Run payroll tax reports and verify information reported is accurate for governmental agencies including all levels of Federal, state & local taxing jurisdictions

      SKILLS

• Must be extremely organized with attention to detail and able to meet critical deadlines
• Analytical with strong problem-solving abilities and creative resolution skills
• Strong interpersonal communication skills (both written and verbal) to interface effectively with individuals at various levels
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast paced environment
• Strong Microsoft Office program experience, including Excel and Word
