    SUMMARY:

    The person in the Benefits HRIS Analyst position must have at least 3 years’ experience as an HRIS or benefits administration system analyst. This person must demonstrate an ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines. This person will conduct or assist in conducting trainings for the HRlS system.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • HRIS set up of benefit plans with employee and employer cost tables
    • Configuration, testing and ongoing support of online benefit enrollment website
    • Audit of data entry
    • Run reports from the HRIS system, extract and analyze data
    • Conduct analysis of data from various sources to troubleshoot and resolve issues
    • Coordinate between benefit and payroll departments to ensure accurate payroll deductions
    • Serve as a contact person for vendor and internal departments when software issues and/or questions arise related to the HRIS system and/or benefits
    • Analyze current processes and recommend alternative solutions to improve efficiencies with the benefits department
    • Prepare appropriate documentation and testing samples for SSAE16 auditors
    • Train staff on the use of the HRIS system
    • Provide administrative support when needed
    • Test updates to the HRIS system
    • Report FSA and HSA enrollments to administrator
    • Review carrier eligibility reports and troubleshoot electronic eligibility file feed errors
