    SUMMARY:

    The full-time Benefits Assistant is an entry level position. This person will support the Benefits Team in the administration of client’s benefits plans and annual enrollment. This person must have at least 2 years prior work experience in an administrative capacity with a strong interest in administering employee benefits in a 3rd party administrator type setting. A 4 year degree is desired, but not required.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Process enrollment forms
    • Data entry into HRIS system
    • Creation of spreadsheets, presentations, forms, flyers, and other communication materials
    • Filing, scanning, copying and other clerical responsibilities

    COMPETENCIES:

    • Highly customer service oriented
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Team Player
    • Ability to work independently in a time sensitive environment
    • Strong Work Ethic
    • Advanced user of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Proactive
    • Prior use of HRIS system desired, but not required
    • Strong desire to pursue a career in Human Resources/Benefits
    • Bilingual a plus
