    LOGISTICS ASSISTANT

    This position provides support to the Logistics Department in numerous ways. Performs administrative and clerical procedures to assist in ensuring that employees are paid on time and client’s needs are met in a timely manner. Primary function is to package all payroll checks and reports, during a specific timeline, and ensuring that said packages are sent to the right location, with all appropriate information in each packet. Ensures that payroll stuffers are included in employees pay checks, as requested

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Primarily responsible for ensuring that client payroll checks are stuffed correctly and that the total number of checks processed, are accounted for prior to shipping to client. Also ensures all required client reports are included with payroll checks package
    • Ensures that all client payroll audit sheets are completed prior to shipping payroll checks and reports
    • Coordinate regularly with Management to review production schedules for changes, taking into consideration input from management, work backlogs and other issues
    • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers to promote a quality service
    • Gather, record and manage relevant department documents and store documents within DMS, including reviewing documents to check for accuracy
    • Categorize electronic documents according to set procedure
    • Other duties as assigned

    • Working knowledge of any payroll processing software is a plus.

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

    • High School Diploma (Associates preferred)
    •  3 years office experience
    • data entry, customer service, and problem resolution
    • Two years payroll administration experience preferred.
    • Microsoft office suite,excel,word.
