    HR GENERALIST

    The person in this position will provide HR expertise to numerous clients and should have 5-7 years of HR management experience. He/she must be knowledgeable in the areas of wage and hour compliance, conflict resolution, performance evaluation, proper way to conduct investigations, EDD hearings, responses to claims, etc. He/she must be able to multi-task; must work well under pressure; must maintain high levels of confidentiality and must be a team player as well as able to work with minimal supervision. Availability to travel, excellent customer service, verbal and written expression as well as proficiency in the Microsoft Suite and the Internet are a must. HR associations (e.g. SHRM, PIHRA, etc.) are preferred.

    RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

    • employee relations (benefit administration, oversee various leaves of absence, initiate disciplinary action(s),             etc.;
    • personnel file and records maintenance;
    • use of timekeeping system;
    • payroll;
    • new hire orientation(s);
    • update and present changes to HR policies and procedures;
    • employee performance reviews
    • analyze wage/salary reports and formulate competitive compensation plan.
