    TIMEKEEPING/SOFTWARE SUPPORT

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the computer desktop environment by analyzing requirements, resolving issues, installing desktop hardware and software, and monitoring the internal IT helpdesk . The candidate will also be responsible for the administration of network printers, copiers, servers, and other related network equipment. Responsibilities will include daily end user support in conjunction with the implementation of desktop and laptop upgrades and maintenance. This position is being offered with an opportunity for growth and advancement into a system administrator role.

    KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Monitor and respond to help desk requests from end users on a daily basis.
    2. Provision equipment for new and existing staff through the setup and administration of 100+ Windows 7 and Windows 10 desktop and laptop computers.
    3. Create, manage and maintain user accounts within a Windows Server 2012 Active Directory.
    4. Administer centralized anti-malware in order to secure the network desktop environment.
    5. Troubleshoot and repair network copier and printer issues.
    6. Diagnose and repair network cabling issues.
    7. Administer and support a digital business phone system with 100+ extensions.
    8. Diagnose technology issues independently and when necessary escalate to team members, manufacturers, or software vendors for assistance in order to resolve issues timely and efficiently.
    9. Create and update documentation for current and new IT procedures and policies.
    10. Perform responsibilities with a positive, patient, and supportive attitude throughout the company.
    11. Availability to work off hours and weekends as necessary.
    12. A willingness to contribute with other tasks and responsibilities as needed.

    REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. A thorough understanding of the Windows operating system in a network environment.
    2. 1-2 years of experience in a corporate network environment.
    3. BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent field of study preferred.
    4. Experience with Mac OS X is a plus but not required.
    5. Must be able to safely lift 40+ pounds.
