  • Responsibilities

    The HumanResources/Implementation Representative works with client requests regardingonboarding, employee relations issues, consultation on discipline,terminations, hiring, employee relations, leave of absences and any questionsrelated to employee relations.

    Essential Job Functions-HumanResources

    • Developsworking relationship with client ownership, management, and employees.
    • Createjob descriptions for clients.
    • AssistHuman Resources Generalist/Manager in creating policies and proceduresincluding employee handbook specific to business practices and legalities.
    • AssistHuman Resources Generalist/Manager in investigating employee issues andrecommends procedures and solutions.
    • Maintainspersonnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performancereviews, and terminations.
    • Preparesemployee separation related documentation, and conducts exit interviews todetermine reasons behind separations for client.
    • Assistswith general client calls regarding Workers’ Compensation, employee benefits,general payroll questions (overtime, commissions etc.).
    • Responsiblefor sending leave of absence paperwork to client employees and tracking leaveof absence.
    • Conductsand process employee background checks for clients as requested.
    • Assiststhe Client Service/Human Resources Department with the overall administrativetasks of the department.
    • Assistswith various projects including, but not limited to wage and hour posters,personnel file audits, etc.

    IMPLEMENTATION

    • Assistin the facilitation of onboarding new clients and new sites for currentclients.
    • Assistand help identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives for new clients.
    • Ensurecommunication of compliance of human resources and payroll practices to client.
    • Answeringclient and employee questions on client onboarding process.
    • Assist in the determiningresources and time needed to perform employee onboarding meetings.
    • Assist in setting deadlinesand follow up with key team members to ensure task completion.
    • Inform team members ofonboarding meetings and status of client onboarding.
    • Assist and coordinate projectplan for client and employee onboarding.
    • Assist in maintenance ofprocess checklist thru to completion.
    • Escalate issue within theteam and collaborate with other department team members.
    • Travel to client locationsfor onboarding or as needed.
    • Ensure smooth transition ofclient to service team.
    • Prepare appropriate new hiredocuments to send to clients (i.e., Wage Posters, etc.)
    • Other duties as assigned.

    PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE

    • One to three years of humanresource generalist or equivalent work experience.
    • Other Knowledge, Skills andAbilities
    • Proficient in MicrosoftOffice Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
    • Proven ability to utilize anddevelop computerized spreadsheets and word processing applications.
    • Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills.
    • Excellent customer servicesskills.
    • Ability to manage timeeffectively.
