    MODERN HR is one of the largest, independently owned, Human Resources Consulting, Outsourcing and PEO firm. For more than thirty years, we have assisted employers with the complex and high-end functions relating to their Human Resources.

    WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

    We're looking to add an Administrative Assistant to work hand in hand with Modern HR's Leadership. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, is a team player, driven and possesses exceptional planning, time management. prioritization, and organizational skills.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    • Assist Modern HR leadership with client communications, meeting planning and implementation. This includes assisting with agenda preparation, compiling and disseminating material, taking and publishing meeting documents, and assisting in follow up on assigned action items.
    • Maximize efficiency for Modern HR leadership by booking appointments, managing tasks and maintaining frequently changing calendars. Maintain appointment calendar and related administrative duties.
    • Create and/or assist with the creation and modification of presentation materials, spreadsheets, and other various documents using Microsoft Office programs or other software.
    • Partner with other staff in Client Services, IT, finance, HR and legal, as necessary.
    • Provide ad-hoc project support as needed.

    WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

    • 2 years of experience in a similar position. Previous experience assisting higher level Directors preferred.
    • Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office softwares and quick ability to learn new programs.
    • Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks; meet deadlines; work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision; exercise sound judgment, and handle sensitive and confidential information.
    • Ability to solve problems logically and quickly, using good judgment or escalate issues when appropriate.
    • Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely in oral and written format.
    • Strong skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and SharePoint.

    WHAT WE OFFER:

    • Starting rate: $18 per hour
