Job Description
We are looking for a National Sales Manager for industrial computing sales to join our team. The successful NSM will seek out, introduce, and call on decision-makers and potential decision-makers in Fortune 1000 manufacturing organizations. Additionally, the NSM will take management responsibility for developing ISO/Sales Rep networks.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute a sales plan to identify major customers, communicate and promote Modular products and services
- Understand and be able to use Social Media Tools in the Sales qualification and lead generation process.
- Work with major END USER, OEM, and integrator customers to provide technical solutions utilizing the standard products or customized computing solutions.
- Understanding of Competitive Products and Technologies.
- Experience in qualifying, selling, and closing new business at all levels in the organization with a focus calling on the Director/VP/CIO level offices.
- Generate Quotations, Proposals, and Opportunity Specific Technical Responses.
- will be able to provide leadership and direction to Independent Sales Organizations (Sales Reps) that have geographic responsibility for Modular’s Product line.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to present and have had experience selling to Fortune 1000
- Information Technology (IT) and/or Engineering Personnel. Enterprise Software solutions, Automation Assets, Computers, Industrial Computers, or Integration Services would be the ideal background.
- Will have a clear understanding and demonstrated track record of identifying high probability potential customers and locating and educating the right people in those organizations that either specify or influence factory floor automation assets.
- Provide sales leadership to a developing network of Independent Sales Representatives.
- Work with major END USER, OEM, and Integrator customers to provide technical solutions utilizing the standard products or customized computing solutions.
- Ideally, the individual will have worked from a home sales office covering a large regional territory or National account base.
