    Job Description

    The Systems Test Engineer conducts research that tests and analyzes the feasibility, design, operation, or performance of components and systems.

    ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Validates software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply and maintain quality standards, including firmware, apps and server platform
    • Develops, modifies and executes software test plan and test protocols and automated test scripts and performs risk assessment
    • Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software
    • Analyses test results to ensure functionality and recommends and performs corrective actions
    • Review software requirements and design specification.
    • Create software verification plans, test protocols, and software risk analyses
    • Validate the configuration, functionality, and user interface of software and tools
    • Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts to test software
    • Execute software verification plans and test protocols
    • Analyze failures and collaborate with development teams to ensure root cause is investigated
    • Write test reports documenting detailed results of validation, and report test progress to management
    • Modify test protocols based on requirements changes and execute regression validation accordingly
    • Specifies system components or directs modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • BS in mechanical or software engineering, or relevant experience
    • Minimum of 2 – 4 years of relevant experience
    • Experience in medical device industry required
    • ·Experience with injection molded parts
    • Read and interpret work instructions, specifications, and procedures
    • Complex problem solving, critical thinking, judgment and decision making
    • The ability to work independently and be team oriented
    • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
