    JOB SUMMARY:

    The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. This position is also responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical problems, as well as providing technical advice and guidance to other team members.

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.

    Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems.

    Provide technical advice and guidance to other electricians.

    Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.

    Follow safety protocols and procedures.

    Adhere to all local and national electrical codes.

    Performs other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Work Experience: 5+ years of experience in the electrical field, Journeyman license is not required.

    Education: Highschool diploma/ GED or equivalent

    Related Experience:

    Journeyman Electrician license preferred but not required

    Proficient in Microsoft Office tools

    Strong analytical skills

    Project management

    Knowledge of electrical systems and equipment.

    Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

    Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks; keep up in a fast-paced environment.

    Coach Supervisors and team members in areas of performance and safety.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee sometimes works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to excessive noise, extreme heat, extreme cold, and heights. When participating in activities on the shop floor, the noise level in the work environment is typical for a fabrication shop and ear plugs may be used as necessary.
