    Mohawk is currently looking to hire a Recruiter I to join our fast paced and growing team!

    The Recruiter I is responsible for the full cycle of recruiting for all assigned positions starting from advertising and sourcing candidates to making final offers. This position puts a strong emphasis on ensuring a positive employee experience for all staff as well as providing strong staff support for all employees in the company. _

    Essential Functions_
    The following is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities for this position. As with all Mohawk staff, the Recruiter I may be asked to do other related work as required in support of the broader mission and objectives of the company.     • Manages the talent acquisition process, which includes advertising, sourcing, interviewing, assessing, Physical Ability Test completion, and hiring of qualified job applicants.
    • Works alongside the company's HR Manager to onboard staff, ensuring all new staff have a positive onboarding experience.
    • Coordinates with the HR Manager and Training Center staff to ensure a smooth transition from onboarding to new hire training.
    • Initiates and participates in community outreach to local schools and organizations to promote the company and spread awareness of offered opportunities and positions.
    • Analyzes the onboarding experience to identify and correct any inefficiencies in the process.
    • Ensures the current applicant tracking system and assessment software is working effectively and suggests any necessary changes. _

    Qualifications_
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Associates or in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
    • A minimum of two years of recruiting experience required.
    • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
    • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems. _

    Physical Requirements_
    • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
    • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities. _
