Job Description
Report Developer
Location: New York, NY
Duration: Long term
Client is seeking a Contractor to provide report development support for DSNY applications.
Familiarity with DSNY systems, processes, and data.
Familiarity with DSNY legacy applications, operations, and procedures.
Experienced in gathering and analyzing requirements from application users and subject matter experts and working closely with clients to review and edit documentation describing how particular systems should be designed.
Experienced in devising solutions and testing scenarios following proposed business workflows.
Knowledgeable and experienced with the Software Testing Methodology, including the design, development, and implementation of quality assurance (“QA”) processes and procedures, creation and execution of business and functional scenarios, preparation of test cases, analysis of test results, and analysis, verification, validation, and progress reporting.
Experience working with huge volumes of data.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience with SSRS Report Builder.
5+ years of experience with developing and publishing Microsoft Power BI reports.
2+ years of experience with Power BI gateway configuration and management.
2+ years of experience with Power BI Premium capacity configuration and administration.
6+ years of experience with creating reports using SSRS.
2+ years of experience with implementing Extract, Transform, and Load processes (“ETLs”) using Pentaho tools.
2+ years of experience with working with and creating MS Power Apps.
2+ years of experience with Bitbucket and the Software Development Life Cycle.
Experience with performing enhancements to existing applications.
2+ years of experience with Jira/Confluence, MS SQL, and MongoDB.
Ability to plan and prioritize work and meet project deadlines.
Self-motivated and works well with other groups.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
