Job Posting: Application Engineer
Position Summary:
Were looking for a self-motivated Applications Engineer to actively support our customer-base in North and South America.
Moldex3D is a global CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) software company and its American headquarters is in Farmington Hills, Michigan. We specialize in molding simulation tools and offering cutting-edge solutions for various molding problems. Our software and solutions have been embraced by a wide range of companies such as GM, Ford, Toyota, Honda, UTC, Microsoft, Nvidia, Stanley Black & Decker Fasteners, BASF, Denso, Molex, Texas Instruments and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide customers with technical support via phone and email.
Support sales reps with pre-sales activities such as Software demonstration, benchmarking projects.
Handle paid consulting projects.
Run training sessions for customers.
Software testing for bug fixes and new version releases.
Host webinar sessions, conference presentations and other vent support.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or higher in an engineering field.
Knowledge and skills of Injection Molding /CAE / CAD is preferred.
Willing to travel independently, up to 25% of time. Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail. Sound computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook. Natural ability to work well in a team as well as individually.
