SOME OF THIS POSITION’S TASKS/DUTIES:

In addition to following Molecule LLC’s policies and procedures, the responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Design, create, and modify modern functional websites and online stores.

• responsible for both back-end and front-end development tasks

• responsible for creating websites architecture, wire framing and mock ups

• responsible for selecting best available WordPress themes and plugins for each project.

• responsible for the implementation of WordPress themes and plugins

• responsible for the implementation of websites integrations with 3rd party (REST and GraphQL)  APIs like QuickBooks etc.

• responsible for the implementation of websites security updates, performance tests and optimization

• responsible for designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.

• responsible for monitoring live websites performance and  troubleshooting and resolving website issues.

• Keep up-to-date on web/software developments trends and practices

• Maintain well-documented, reusable, and transferrable code

• responsible for collaborating with contract web developers on web development projects

• Perform retail duties as needed

• Perform other tasks as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in web development and proficiency using WordPress particularly WordPress Multisite development

• a good eye for aesthetics

• in-depth knowledge of and expertise in  front-end programming languages like CSS3, JavaScript

  (ex. vanilla JS, jQuery, ES6, etc), TML, HTML5, and jQuery.

• Experience with back-end programming like PHP and MySQL

• Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)

• Experience with using Elementor WordPress website builder.

• Solid knowledge of adaptive and responsive design

• Knowledge of SEO best practices

• Knowledge of code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, and SVN.

• Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.

• Strong content management skills

• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills 

• Portfolio showcasing examples of applicable work experience.

• Must pass a background check

• Reliable transportation to and from work.

• Completely vaccinated against SARS‐CoV‐2 (coronavirus 2)
