Momentum Finance, LLC is looking for a professional Bookkeeper / Excel Analyst who values innovation and loves working with Founders and their Startups. Momentum Finance is a next-generation boutique financial advisory firm designed to serve and evolve with the Founder's Company from well-funded Series Seed to B. We are a special kind of firm, and we are looking for a special kind of person to work with us. You might be ONE of US if... * You aspire to be an enterprise-level professional, but you do not always think like one * You are excited about working with Founders, early-stage companies, and new business models * You are invested in your work and will not accept anything else than excellence in your work product Over time, the primary responsibilities will include working with our Clients and being the primary point of contact, including reviewing financial statements and reconciliations. You will project manage a portfolio of our clients. Your experience in working with different start-up companies will improve your recognition / solution of common issues. We require a keen eye for detail and tenacity towards meeting (or beating ;) deadlines. Your qualifications are expected to show that you have an advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables are just the tip of the iceberg of your knowledge), knowledge of QuickBooks Online and familiarity with Google Apps. We provide training for our core software platforms, including Asana, Bill.com, Expensify, Gusto, Microsoft Office and SaaS Optics (just to name a few). Your abilities to multi-task and self-motivate are requisite for joining our Team. We work remotely the majority of the time. This is an hourly part-time contract position with Momentum Finance. Example Responsibilities: * Weekly Client Meetings or Calls * Enter Vendor Invoices in Bill.com * Month End Close process for a specific set of Clients * Keep up with registration and tax filing deadlines for Clients * Work with Clients to collect information necessary for weekly reconciliations * Document processes and procedures, recognize and document process improvements Desired Qualifications Our optimal Bookkeeper / Excel Analyst will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, as well as a thorough knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles. Prior experience with Quickbooks Online Plus is essential, preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of our preferred platforms including Bill.com, Expensify, Gusto and Asana. The candidate needs to demonstrate rock solid Excel skills, advanced skills preferred.
