    We’re looking for a general contractor who can lead our labor crew and subcontractors to success and get the job done right. You’ll help our construction company plan and manage all new construction and remodeling projects for homeowners. You'll need to manage project costs and obtain all building permits. Our ideal candidate has at least 1 year of general contractor experience overseeing construction projects. Work on larger projects would be a bonus. Responsibilities: Assist the project manager with any other duties as needed for the entire project Discuss project costs with the client and help the project manager plan out the day-to-day building project process Order all the necessary building project equipment, and reorder stock promptly so the project can keep moving Manage construction workers and subcontractors, perform routine inspections on-site, and give guidance as needed to make sure each construction project results in a high-quality finished product Assure all tools, equipment, and vehicles are well-maintained, and arrange for routine maintenance as needed Qualifications: Minimum 1 year work experience as a general contractor needed, with 3+ years preferred Current general contractor license Must have a high school diploma, bachelor’s degree is preferred for this role Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and time-management skills Has basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building codes, blueprints, permits, construction equipment, material resources, construction processes, and project management principles Stamina for operating heavy equipment and lifting 40 pounds or more Compensation: 75,000 - 90,000 yearly
