Job Description
Position: Enrollment/Billing Associate Analyst
*This is a hybrid contract (temporary) position.
Responsibilities:
• Review billing system setup for accuracy and update bills per service requests.
• Perform procedures on simple to moderately complex validations and audits to determine over/under payments, identify procedural exceptions and drive resolution in compliance with established procedures and timelines.
• Complete assigned audits and special projects.
• Reconcile expected versus actuals, and drive resolution of unexplained variances.
• Perform and validate the accuracy of cancellation activity to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley controls.
• Collect and validate required documents and data elements required to complete system setup.
• Provide timely and accurate responses to inquiries from internal and external business partners.
• Comply with departmental policies regarding ethical and proper use of company equipment.
Qualifications
• Associates or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 1+ years of previous service experience working in accounts payable, accounts receivable or billing required.
• Functioning broadband (cable/DSL with minimum requirements 50mb download/20mb upload speed)
• Strong computer skills including, but not limited to, MS Excel spreadsheet functions.
• Demonstrates a strong focus on customer service when partnering with internal and external business partners.
• Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Insurance industry knowledge and experience is a plus.
• Basic understanding of GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles).
• Ability to multi-task and work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work successfully independently and as part of a team.
Pay Rate: $19 / hr
