Job Description
SUMMARY
The Microsoft Teams Support Engineer will serve as the primary technical resource for Microsoft Teams, from installation to post-install support. This customer-facing role will work with Project Managers and Implementation Team to on-board and support Microsoft Teams customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Run point on customer communications following Teams
installation
- Work with the Momentum Implementation and Project
Management teams to supply clarity and verify installed solution for accuracy
- Obtain high customer and partner onboarding satisfaction
- Serve as technical adviser and owning the resolution of
issues that arise during the onboarding phases
- Assists Momentum customers with the installation,
configuration, and ongoing support of Microsoft Teams.
- Maintaining a strong working & technical knowledge of
the M365 services, taking ownership for driving service improvements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- A four-year undergraduate degree or equivalent
knowledge/experience is required.
- Microsoft Certification MS-100 or willing to obtain by
end of the year
- 3+ years professional experience as Windows/Office 365
support engineer
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in a customer facing or customer support role with
troubleshooting and problem-solving experience in a team environment
- Strong working knowledge of Azure Active Directory synchronization
tools like AD Connect, Okta or other federation services.
- Experience with Office 365 applications administration: Teams
preferred but Exchange, SharePoint is OK.
- SSL Certificates administration
- PowerShell - basic scripting knowledge
- Virtual Machine administration VMware, Azure
- Solid understanding of client/server, networking, and Internet
technologies fundamentals
- Desired background in VoIP, PSTN converged voice and data IP
communications packages, VoIP Hosted PBX, SIP Trunks
