Job description
POSITION INFORMATION:
MSA is looking for a paralegal with an organized mind and ability to multitask. The candidate must be reliable, attentive to details, and work effectively with minimal supervision. We are seeking a candidate with experience in Immigration law. The preferred candidate must be able to pay attention to detail, be prepared to research, and be immersed in this nuanced field of law. Previous experience in consular processing, adjustments, and business immigration is highly preferred. We are looking for a candidate who can thrive in a small collaborative environment.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Immigration EB-5 filings
Writing blog posts
Drafting requests for evidence for USCIS
Adjustment of Status/Consulate Issues
Sourcing funds (forensic accounting)
Client interaction (especially high net worth individuals as well as developers)
Occasional handling of E-2 (non-immigrant entrepreneur investment) and L-1 (intra-company) immigration cases
Occasional podcasting and marketing contributions
Never a dull day in the office!
JOB DUTIES:
· Assist with client intakes to obtain relevant case information
· Conducting legal research for cases
· Coordinate with clients to gather documents, complete forms, review and provide case status etc.
· Drafting correspondence to clients, courts, USCIS, NVC, attorneys, etc.
· Preparing cases for submission (Printing and assembling documents, scanning and saving and organizing mail delivery)
· Handle administrative tasks such as filing papers, answering telephone calls, and maintaining and organizing reference files
· Maintaining the attorney’s schedule, database, and calendar
· Writing skills required
Review files regularly, consult with an attorney and prepare regular status reports.

Salary: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
