Our client, a profitable and friendly casino located in Southern California, is seeking an experienced CONTROLLER from the gaming industry to join their organization.  This position reports directly to the CFO and will oversee month-end/year-end financial close, revenue audit, the count team, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and Title 31 Compliance.  Prior gaming experience is required along with a strong knowledge of gaming internal controls, compliance and reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university, CPA/MBA preferred.
• 8+ years' experience in a management/supervisory role required 
  
• Previous experience at a casino property with internal controls, compliance, and/or revenue audit required
• Must possess strong demonstrated management and leadership skills including ability to lead a diverse team combined with strong communication skills
• Proven ability to foster teamwork, cohesive team morale, and open communication.
• Strong work ethic and ability to cultivate working relationships throughout the organization
• Must be able to acquire and maintain appropriate gaming license
