    Drop and Count Senior Manager (Casino)

    The Drop and Count Senior Manager (Casino) is a newly created position for this successful and expanding casino, overseeing both the Drop and Count team for the casino.  The Drop and Count Senior Manager executes on the department’s strategic objectives and is responsible for the overall leadership for the collection and reconciliation of currency throughout the property. The Drop and Count Senior Manager is a hands on leader responsible for investigating and documenting count variances and regulatory violations, and leading the activities of the teams in order to build efficiencies in regards to process requirements and initiatives. The Drop and Count Senior Manager is accountable for ensuring all policy and procedures are accurately followed while ensuring compliance with the all internal control standards and gaming commission regulations.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    1. Responsible for accurate reconciliation, and ensures departmental compliance on all internal control standards, gaming commission regulations, policies, and procedures for both the count and drop areas.

    2. Establishes the operational and service expectations for the count and drop teams, and implements efficient and practical solutions to increase the day-to-day operational productivity of the teams.

    3. Analyzes and interprets trends associated with count room operations and implements solutions to optimize operating costs.

    4. Investigates and documents discrepancies according to reporting requirements.

    Education/Experience/Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field is required.
    • Minimum five (5) years direct management experience and ten (10) years of progressive experience working in a high volume count room or gaming operations.
    • Experience with heavy cash handling, various forms of cash transactions, and operation of counting equipment.
    • Demonstrates a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements that pertain to the drop and count process.
    • Ability to effectively lead teams during times of high volume and foster a positive team environment.
    • Builds collaborative relationships with stakeholders at various levels.

    Compensation

    • Competitive salary (up to $100K base DOE), 25% annual target bonus and relocation assistance is available.

    Licensing Requirements

    • You may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
