    Accounting Manager

    The Accounting Manager will assist the Chief Financial Officer in the accounting operations of the Company, including correct transacting and reconciling of all accounts, monitoring of payables and receivables, electronic uploading of transactions to ledger, handling treasury operations, producing financial reports, and maintaining an adequate system of accounting records and internal controls designed to enhance the accuracy of the Company's reported financial results.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • General bookkeeping for multiple related companies
    • Implement accounting policies and procedures
    • Ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and compliance with internal policies
    • Reconciling all general ledger accounts and sub-ledgers
    • Handle foreign currency transactions
    • Handle consolidations
    • Maintain daily cash, credit card, and debt reconciliations
    • Maintain chart of accounts
    • Coding, dating, entering and scanning vendor invoices into ERP accounts payable module
    • Audit, verify and record expense reports
    • Record credit card statements
    • Prepare checks, wires, and ACH’s
    • Period end closing, including importing journal entries and preparing monthly financial reports
    • Import revenue invoice and payroll information into accounting software
    • Prepare and file property, sales and use tax returns for multiple states; secure new jurisdictions as needed
    • Prepare monthly sales commission schedules for payroll
    • Prepare 1099 and W2G forms
    • Enter fixed assets to fixed assets manager, reconcile to general ledger, and calculate monthly depreciation
    • Assist with ad hoc accounting projects as needed

      Skills Knowledge and Qualifications

    • Advanced at analyzing information with Excel, utilizing PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
    • Working knowledge of ASC 606 and ASC 842 and their implications on the manufacturing industry
    • Working knowledge of standard accounting internal controls
