    Beautiful, comfortable interior spaces don’t just happen by accident. They are carefully planned by our interior designers who combine their artistic and technical skills to create safe and functional spaces where our clients live, work, and play. We're looking for an Interior Design Intern to support our efforts. This is a Part-Time position, with possibility for Full-Time in the Summer/Winter breaks. You must have excellent organization, time management, and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to change course several times daily. If you have command of current design trends, enjoy organizing details, and get the job done on time without micromanagement, this may be the job for you. Responsibilities: • Prepare visually pleasing documentation for clients to review selections • Organize showroom and maintain up to date samples • AutoCAD drafting of floor plans, elevations, tile, and cabinetry drawings • Assist in making design selections within budget, including but not limited to fabric, tile, paint, lighting, hardware, etc. • Gather pricing and lead times for furnishings, fixtures, and materials • Track task completion and work with procurement to track order logistics • Track hours attributable to each project to assess the profitability Qualifications: Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects Strong communication skills with the ability to listen to a client and their needs Well informed on affordable and functional furniture systems and finishes • Interior Design experience required; obtained or working towards degree/license in Interior Design • Must have reliable transportation • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office 365 • Exceptional English - written and verbal communication skills • Work well under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment • Exceptionally strong attention to detail and organization skills • Self-starter who catches on quickly and takes initiative • Team player who takes responsibility without excuses Compensation: $12 - $15 hourly
