    Residential Roofing Superintendent - Wilmington, NC

    The Superintendent position reports to the Production Manager. Superintendents are responsible for production and roof installations in the field and with helping crews complete Monarch quality work. The Superintendent position also oversees inspections and ultimately helps Monarch receive perfect reviews from highly satisfied customers.

    This position will work in Monarch's Wilmington location (NC).

    Duties:

    Prepares pictures documenting the entire roofing process.

    Promotes the daily practice of all OSHA safety standard.s

    Communicates job scope to crews to ensure the accuracy of projects.

    Understands all residential roofing installation procedures, processes, and materials.

    Gains additional knowledge of roofing systems and installation methods.

    Finds accurate solutions to installation issues and unique roofing installation. .

    Helps Project Managers and Production Coordinator schedule roofing projects and crews with the goal of maximizing their potential and increasing production

    Meets crews on site prior to job commencement and reviews all roofing project requirements and pay sheets for accuracy.

    Greets customers, owners, and property managers, in a courteous and professional manner.

    Greets suppliers for every delivery to ensure accuracy of material orders and that materials are properly stored and loaded at the job-site.

    Coordinates on-site set-up and clean-up and assists in the removal of all extra materials and equipment upon project completion.

    Completes Final Roof Inspection Report for every project prior to crew payments.

    Assists with transporting full trailers to the dump for emptying as needed.

    Attends morning Production Meetings to review current roofing projects.

    Schedules all routine maintenance and repairs needed on vehicle.

    Qualities Characteristics and Aptitude:

    Experience in roofing preferred. Construction experience highly desired.

    Strong work ethic and Team Player

    Fluent ability to operate different phone applications

    Must be a self-starter, goal oriented, and have a high energy level

    Must be cooperative, organized, and systematic in work with an attention for details and high degree of confidentiality

    Must have the ability to be clear and precise when communicating with all levels within the organization and with all parties positively and politely

    Full time employment in Wilmington, NC, Monday - Saturdays.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: $700.00 to $1,200.00 /week

    Physical Abilities and Working Conditions:

    The majority of the Superintendent work will be done at Job Sites. Superintendents will be exposed to varying temperatures ranges from heat 90 degrees plus, to cold weather which could include temperatures in the teens, and rainy conditions. The Superintendent must be able to lift/move up to 70 pounds frequently and may perform tasks requiring climbing, crawling, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, gripping and moving safely over uneven surfaces. Superintendents are expected to safely climb ladders reaching up to 60 ft while carrying up to 30 pounds and wear personal protective gear correctly.
