The Investment Operations Team offers a unique opportunity to be an integral intermediary between Moneta’s Investment Research, Advisor Teams, and EST departments as an Investment Operations Specialist. This role offers unique exposure to a wide array of asset classes, executing on processes that require a keen sense of detail, prioritization, and a thorough understanding of concepts ranging from performance calculations, accounting principles, and administration of investment activity and data. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with Advisor Teams to efficiently problem solve an array of inquiries within our portfolio management systems.
• Provide timely, relevant reporting in a well-illustrated format to interested parties.
• Assist with ad hoc investment related projects and work with internal / external parties whenever necessary to execute efficiently.
• Contribute towards new and ongoing process implementation.
• Maintain investment data in multiple portfolio management software with data coming via download and manually.
• Strive to be a subject matter expert of multiple asset classes and their respective accounting, performance, and administrative treatments.
• Work closely with Investment Operations team members, as well as Investment Research and other EST departments.

Qualifications

• B.S. Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 0-2 years of relevant experience
• Evidence of strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Team player mentality
• Emphasis on continuous improvement and an eagerness to learn
• Understanding of investment performance measurement, accounting principles, and alternative investments, or willingness to learn
• Commitment to ‘Raving Fan’ service
• Professional attitude, demeanor, and appearance
