Job Description

We are seeking Interns to work and learn at Moneta. The 2024 summer internship is a 9 week paid program starting June 10th and ending on August 9th.

As an intern, you will work side-by-side with intelligent, entrepreneurial colleagues, who will give exposure to all areas of the firm. You will work daily with partners, advisors, client service managers, on professional and client development.

Through our internship, we will provide you with the tools to help develop your knowledge in finance as well as invest in your professional and personal growth by encouraging collaboration, creating best practices, and promoting Moneta culture.

• The hourly rate of pay is $20/hr.
• You will work daily with partners, advisors, client service managers, leaders and/or associates on professional and client development.
• Work within various departments in our Enterprise Services Team to gain understanding of areas such as marketing, HR, investments analysis and/or operations.
• Prepare written reviews with investment information including asset values and investments returns for client review meetings
• Prepare various documents for client signature
• Gain exposure to various types of financial planning software
• Data management of signed client forms
• Scanning, filing, and shredding of sensitive client documents
• Participate in training/reading/volunteer activities
• Special projects as required by current needs of team
• Attend intern specific events and training sessions
• Available to work in the office

Qualifications

• Progress toward B.S. Business, Finance, or Accounting, preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Must be organized, meticulous, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
• Ability to interact well with clients and all employees
• Professional attitude, demeanor, and appearance

Additional Information

Moneta is a fiduciary fee-only Registered Investment Advisory firm and unable to hold securities licenses with the exception of Series 65. We also do not allow outside business activities, insurance commissions and/or trails.
