Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, Accounting or Finance preferred
- 3+ years investment management preferably within an asset manager, trading desk or registered investment advisor
- Strong knowledge of fixed income, settlement, and administration processes.
- Knowledge of trade life cycle, accounting, and fund administration concepts
- Experience with performance and risk concepts
- Series 65 license or ability to achieve in the first 3 months of employment
- Demonstrated research, analytical and problem-solving skills; as well as critical thinking with the ability to identify and escalate issues
- Self-starter with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and ability to prioritize daily work
- Copes with changes and uncertainty; team player; able to see what needs to be done and contribute
- Familiar with project management fundamentals, excellent organizational and communication skills, confident verbal and interpersonal approach
- Collaborates effectively with internal and external partners, displays a diplomatic approach to business conflict
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; strong Excel skills required
- Experience with Bloomberg, Morningstar, Orion and Eclipse strongly desired.
- Familiar in dealing with custodians Schwab, Fidelity and TD Ameritrade desired.
