Special Needs Care Taker Searching for a respite/attendant provider to assist family with our 16 year old son who has autism, seizures (controlled), nonverbal and mild cerebral palsy. He is all boy and fun loving who enjoys laughing, the water and outdoor activities, like SeaWorld. Provider preferably has experience as a certified registered behavioral therapist (RBT) or working with individuals with autism. If no experience, training could provided depending on past experiences. Long-term commitment desired. Provide resume with references. Would need to become an IHSS Provider thru San Diego County with full-time or part-time hours available (up to 40 per week) which would qualify for State benefits, medical (Kaiser), dental and two sick days per year. Pay is $15.00 per hour from the State plus will supplement pay $5-10 per hour, depending on experience ($20-25/hour).
