    YOUR ROLE

    The Superintendent will work with the Project Manager to deliver high quality projects and experience to our clients and project partners. The superintendent will be responsible for supervising work of all carpenters and trades, planning and layout of all on-site work, coordinating subcontractors and schedules, Communicating with the project management team, and maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment, while providing a high level of customer satisfaction.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Oversee sub-trades and carpenters

    • Self perform tasks as needed

    • Manages 2-3 jobs at once

    • Execute complex layouts for all trades

    • Advise on methods and systems for best results on various trades.

    • Communicate with clients/inspectors/city officials frequently to stay updated on critical steps to move the project forward

    • Able to read blueprints and knowledgeable in construction methods

    • Thorough understanding of sequencing of trades and how they interact

    • Schedule onsite work of Lead Carpenters and subs

    • Understanding of how finish materials come together

    • Understand the process of rough to finish and how they affect each other.

    • Demonstrate general safety knowledge, Keep subcontractors accountable to safety standards, and ensure proper use of equipment and tools to remaining accident-free

    • Input data in Buildertrend/Excel, and keep records of project process as necessary

    • Remain up to date on building methods and products

    • Approach all projects with a partnership mentality, encouraging collaboration in pursuit of a successful project for all.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Building Envelope and building science knowledgeable

    • 2 years minimum experience as lead carpenter or foreman in relevant trade

    • Good verbal and written communication skills

    • Knowledge and comfortability in digital platforms

    • Ability to transport self to site every day. 

    • Perform physical labor, including lifting over 50lbs
