    WE ARE DRIVEN TO SUCCEED

    WE CURRENTLY HAVE OPENINGS FOR CDL CLASS A DRIVERS AT OUR ROCHESTER, NY LOCATION

    JOB DUTIES

    Operates a diesel-powered semi-tractor with at least one trailer for the purpose of delivery, pick up, and hauling of materials between Distribution center and multiple local and out of State Company store locations and Wholesale customer store locations. Unload and loads merchandise at the store locations utilizing lift-gates, pallet jacks and material handling equipment.  Performs routine tractor and trailer inspections and follows local and federal transportation regulations.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
    • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
    • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
    • Possess and maintain a valid class ‘”A” CDL driver’s license.
    • Have a safe driving record.
    • Must pass pre-employment drug screens and physical.
    • Minimum of six months semi tractor and trailer driving experience or equivalent training.
    • Knowledge of all transportation regulations.  Ability to follow all federal and state motor carrier safety regulations as specified by the US Department of Transportation and other regulatory agencies of the federal and state governments.
    • Ability to accurately maintain daily logs and related record keeping.
