ABOUT THE ROLE

As a DATA ANALYST at Monrovia, you will work REMOTELY as part of a team developing reports and analytics for companywide needs. The tools you will use to develop with will be a combination of Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) and Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) via Oracle's Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW). Power BI will also be used where the foregoing tools are insufficient (or for ad-hoc reports). Success in this role relies heavily on an understanding of SQL, data modeling concepts, and communicating well in a team environment more so than the Oracle reporting toolsets. Ability to adapt to changing needs and tools is imperative.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• You’ll mine and analyze data to drive optimization and improvement in Sales, Manufacturing and Transportation operations
• You’ll develop custom data models and algorithms
• You’ll assess effectiveness and accuracy of data sources and data-gathering processes
• You’ll work with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes
• You’ll create simple, meaningful visualizations from complex data
• You will have the ability to review and update reports and draw conclusions on complex data through independent research and analysis
• You will be an effective written and oral communicator

WHO YOU ARE

• You have experience using PL/SQL and T-SQL development, Python or R programming and analytics software ideally with PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, Sisense, etc.
• You have familiarity with Oracle Fusion ERP and Oracle Transportation Management as well as experience with ETL/ELT processes
• You have advanced or Intermediate ability in dashboard configuration, business intelligence tools and visualization solutions
• You are an excellent verbal and written communicator, you are self-motivated, pro-active, dynamic, and maintain a can-do desire to make a difference
• You are adaptable and learn new technologies quickly
• You have obtained a bachelor’s degree and have at least 2+ years of relevant professional experience
