    Are you a dedicated nursing professional seeking a leadership role? Americare Senior Living is expanding its team, and we are currently hiring a Director of Nursing (DON) for the Monterey Village Senior Living community in Lawrence, KS. The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who is passionate to pursue a role in leadership. As a DON in assisted living, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing nursing services, maintaining quality care standards, and advising medical staff. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the well-being of residents and collaborate with a supportive team.

    Britte Everly, our dedicated Administrator at Monterey Village Senior Living, brings a wealth of experience and a compassionate approach to her role. Starting as a Certified Medication Aide in April 2018, Britte has showcased exceptional leadership, progressing through various roles to become the Administrator in June 2022. Her passion for residents and employees alike underscores her commitment to creating a supportive and caring community.

    Position Perks:

    Salary: $58,240 to $62,400 with annual raise potential, commensurate with experience.

    Bonus Plan: Up to $6,600 annual bonus.

    Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including health/vision/dental insurance, 401K, free daily meals, tuition reimbursement, and more.

    Essential Functions:

    Oversee nursing services and clinical supervision.

    Implement nursing objectives and maintain care standards.

    Supervise and provide guidance to nursing and support staff.

    Ensure documentation compliance and maintain resident records.

    Collaborate with the Administrator for community standards and inspections.

    Assess supply and equipment needs for the nursing department.

    Qualifications:

    Graduate of an approved school of nursing with LPN as the minimum certification (required)

    Current state nursing license with ongoing education certification (required)

    Minimum 3 years nursing experience (preferred)
