About the Role:

Join KINDERNEST MONTESSORI SCHOOL as a Montessori Lead Teacher for children aged 3-6 in the vibrant community of Newtonhighland, MA. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire young minds through the Montessori method while fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized lesson plans that align with Montessori principles.

Guide and support children in their learning and personal development.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.

Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and classroom activities.

Facilitate group activities that promote social skills and teamwork.

Observe and assess student performance to tailor educational approaches.

Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance curriculum and teaching strategies.

Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current in Montessori education.

Requirements:

Montessori Early Childhood credential (AMI, AMS, or MACTE strongly preferred) EEC

Teacher or Lead Teacher certification (or in progress)

Experience working with ages 3 to 6 and a calm, positive, professional teaching presence
