Our client, Wylie Monuments is hiring a Monument Installation and Concrete Specialist, Delivery Merchandiser.

Reports to: Manager of Wylie Monuments

Objectives:

Delivery and installation of marker and monuments on time and in good condition

Be a positive representation of Wylie Monuments to our customers

Duties & Responsibilities:

Pour concrete and create concrete collars

Make certain paperwork for daily deliveries is in order

Keep driver logs to meet company, state, and federal regulations

Load truck for delivery route

Drive to cemeteries – maintaining a schedule and safe driving practices

Interact with customers during order delivery, installation, and pickup

Installation of Memorials onsite

Set markers as requested, photograph install, and forward to supervisor

Keep work areas clean

Keep trucks clean inside and out

Assist others as needed

Perform weekly truck inspections

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Must know how to lift and maneuver markers - all types and sizes - without causing injury or damage

Must be able to move 50+ lbs on a regular basis

Must be able to operate a hand truck or industrial dolly

Safe driving record and practices

Concrete: setting/pouring

Hyster products and related materials handling operations

Read tape measure accurately

Basic computer skills: email/calls for deliveries

General landscaping

Pass a Driver's Medical/Physical exam

Schedule: 8am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday, flexible schedule during summer and winter months depending on weather/workload

This position will be exposed to information about people who have passed on and in some cases people who passed on very young. This position will also be exposed to photographs of people of all ages, who have passed that become part of a beautiful tribute in stone. It is very important that applicants are comfortable with the monument industry.
